Yard Worker – 1st Shift (Full Time)
Location: Copley, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (occasional Saturday overtime)
Pay: $19 to $20
Job Summary: A well-established lumber company in Copley, OH is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join their team. This full-time position offers the opportunity for long-term employment in a stable and growing company. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift and material handling experience and be comfortable working in a warehouse or outdoor yard environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move lumber and building materials
- Stage and organize materials for transportation and delivery
- Assist with receiving and inventory control of incoming shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform general labor duties including stacking, banding, and wrapping materials
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed
Requirements:
- Prior forklift and material handling experience required
- Experience in a warehouse or lumber yard environment preferred
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Team-oriented and willing to learn new tasks
- Safety-conscious and able to follow company procedures
