This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Consistently use appropriate PPE for all tasks to maintain a safe work environment
- Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to move materials and equipment
- Communicate progress, updates, and issues clearly with supervisors on a regular basis
- Clean, inspect and perform basic repairs on marine equipment/rental equipment
- Apply paint to marine equipment using sprayers and rollers to ensure quality finishes
- Operate a variety of motorized tools and equipment, including power tools, saws, hammers, and impact drivers
- Prepare and stage equipment for loading and transport
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe equipment yard
- Load and unload equipment and materials onto trucks with care and efficiency
- Operate pressure washers to clean equipment and work areas
- Maintain wash pad and associated equipment in proper working condition
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands to handle and grip objects
- Balance, bend and reach with hands and arms and operate foot controls as needed
- Occasionally climb ladders, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and crawling.
- This role also requires the ability to communicate effectively, including talking and hearing.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
