Yoga Instructor
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and experienced Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate is committed to helping members improve their physical and mental well-being through safe and engaging yoga instruction. This role involves leading classes, developing yoga programs, and creating a welcoming environment for participants of all experience levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead yoga classes for members of varying skill levels and abilities
- Develop and implement effective yoga programs tailored to participant needs
- Provide guidance, encouragement, and individualized support to students
- Demonstrating proper techniques and modifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment
- Stay informed about current yoga practices, techniques, and wellness trends
- Build positive relationships with members and foster a supportive community atmosphere
Qualifications
- Current Yoga Instructor certification required
- Experience teaching a requirement at least 200 hours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students in a positive manner
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods
- Ability to demonstrate yoga poses and techniques safely
- Ability to lift and carry yoga equipment and studio supplies as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- Part-time position
- Hourly pay based on experience and qualifications
- Expected hours: 1–20 hours per week
