Dance Instructor Job DescriptionGeneral We are looking to hire a passionate dance instructor to join our Dance department! You will be responsible for teaching and training a dynamic group of school age students ranging from TK/K to 5th grade in a range of techniques and dance styles, ensuring that all students are engaged, motivated, and inspired to achieve their goals in their chosen area of dance.Duties and Responsibilities:Teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.Develop dance curriculums and prepare lesson plans.Communicate with a diverse group of instructors and students.Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.Choreograph appropriate routines and select music for recitals and concerts.Provide a fun, engaging and creative environment.Keep up to date in your discipline and implement any changes to the dance routines and curriculum as needed.Support in various programs- recess, sports, etcQualifications Be enthusiastic, artistic, and engagingAble to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership and decision-making abilitiesExperience of 1 year in related field is required
