About the Role:
Boxwood Learning Center Inc is looking for a passionate and driven Youth & Family Outreach Coordinator to join our team in Roselle, NJ! In this rewarding role, you'll be at the heart of connecting young people and families with the resources, programs, and support they need to thrive. If you're energized by making a real difference in your community, we want to hear from you!  This is a full-time temporary employment that starts on 10/1/2026 or ASAP and ends on 12/31/2026.  Hiring offer based on performance.



Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage youth and families in the local community
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and social service agencies
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate youth and family programming, workshops, and events
• Conduct community needs assessments to identify gaps in services and resources
• Connect families with appropriate support services, referrals, and educational resources
• match, when necessary, youth to existing or new mentors
• Track program participation, maintain accurate records, and prepare progress reports
• Serve as a visible and trusted advocate for youth and family well-being in the Roselle community

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Human Services, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in youth development, family services, or community outreach
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations
• Ability to build trust and rapport with youth, families, and community stakeholders
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously
• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
