Position: Youth Literacy Instructor Salary: $20/hour; $21/hour if bilingual Schedule: 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm Monday-Friday (with only 4 hours on Friday), with occasional weekends. Schedule may shift seasonally based on program needs, including summer programming. POSITION SUMMARY Provide targeted, evidence-based reading interventions to youth in grades K-12 using culturally and age-appropriate curriculum and materials. Plan to lead, teach, and evaluate youth in one-to-one or small-group settings across various Saint Paul Public Schools and at Neighborhood House and its other community sites during after-school and summer programming. WORK LOCATION This in-person role is based in St. Paul, MN, with programming taking place at Neighborhood House sites, select Saint Paul Public Schools, and occasional off-site locations for field trips or events. Local travel is required. The schedule is primarily 8 am-5 pm or 9 am-6 pm, Monday-Thursday, with 4 hours on Friday, with occasional weekend work. Schedule may shift seasonally based on program needs, including Summer Sunrise programming.
