WAIVER Announcement: Interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Bullitt County Public Schools is requesting a waiver to fill this position before the standard 15-day posting period to ensure we are fully staffed for the upcoming school year.
This part-time role supports Bullitt Central High School and its feeder schools by assisting with the Dare to Care Pantry, food distribution, and related record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
Pick up Dare to Care Pantry items Wednesday mornings.
Manage pantry pick-ups for families Thursday evenings.
Pack and deliver food bags to Bullitt Central feeder elementary and middle schools.
Maintain accurate records; Infinite Campus knowledge preferred.
Work closely with both the Family Resource Center (FRC) and Youth Services Center (YSC) Coordinators.
Deliver food boxes to families without transportation (as needed).
Maintain pantry cleanliness, comply with health standards, and dispose of expired items.
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Willingness to obtain certification to drive district vehicles.
Availability for required Wednesday and Thursday shifts.
Ability to work 16-20 hours per week (as needed).
On an as needed hourly basis from 10 - 15 hours per week.
Considered part-time and not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)
