The Job
- Bring Soccer Island to life through energy, enthusiasm, and creativity
- Lead engaging soccer sessions for children ages 2–8
- Set up and take down equipment before and after each session
- Teach age-appropriate soccer skills using Soccer Shots’ expert-designed curriculum
- Encourage confidence, teamwork, and character development through positive reinforcement
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every child
- Follow all attendance, safety, and on-site procedures
- Communicate professionally with families, caregivers, teachers, and site staff
Qualifications
- No prior sports or coaching experience required
- Passion for working with young children
- Energetic, engaging, dependable, and responsible
- Strong communication skills
- Safety-conscious and able to adapt to the needs of children ages 2–8
- Reliable transportation to schools and parks throughout Northeast Philadelphia
- Ability to stand, jog, and model basic children’s soccer skills
- Ability to obtain all state-required child safety clearances
