Are you ready to make a lasting impact? As a Youth Specialist with Samaritas, you’ll provide direct supervision and support to refugee youth in a residential setting—helping them feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.
What You’ll Do:
Create a family-like environment that models' positive behaviors and expectations.
Assist youth with daily routines—meal prep, medication administration, skill-building, and activities.
Provide safe transportation to appointments and monitor overnight activity.
Be a trusted mentor and advocate for youth navigating trauma, displacement, and cultural adjustment.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to learn de-escalation techniques and become CPR/First Aid certified.
Direct care experience in mental health or working with vulnerable populations preferred.
Bi-lingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
Must be 21 years or older, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and meet vaccine requirements.
