Description
Join Amazing Athletes as a Youth Sports Coach and make a positive impact on the lives of children! As a vital member of our team, you will introduce sports and fitness through our engaging and fun programs for children ages 2 to 5 years. Our focus is to promote physical activity while teaching the fundamentals of various sports and instilling a love for fitness from a young age.
Your responsibilities will include delivering structured lessons in a variety of sports, tracking each child's progress, and maintaining strong relationships with parents and school staff. With a supportive team and a curriculum designed for maximum engagement, you will help children develop confidence, coordination, and a healthy lifestyle.
Important Details:
Part-time position with flexible hours; classes primarily on weekdays
Classes held at preschools, daycares, and community centers
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in coaching or working with children preferred
Ability to pass background checks (NCDHHS & SLED)
Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching sports
Reliable transportation for commuting to different locations
Ability to work a flexible schedule between mornings and early afternoons
