join our Youth Sports team! Our Y is looking for individuals to
help volunteer coach our Developmental Basketball League!
Shift Options:
Practice options: Monday- Thursday (1 hr practice, once a week, with games on Saturdays)
Responsibilities:
Lead and implement activities and serve as a positive role model for youth
Lead a team ranging from 8-12 players in practices and games each week focusing on teaching the basic fundamentals of basketball
Requirements
Candidates
should be enthusiastic, motivating and able to relate well to
young children
Some
knowledge and experience playing organized sports. Sample practice plans available as a reference.
