YS Sports Site Supervisor

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday from 4:30PM to 8:30PM and Saturday 7:30AM to 2:30 PM.

PAY RATE: $12.50/hr

To provide a positive and safe environment for all in providing remarkable member service experiences in YMCA Sports programs.

• Understand league rules and the proper mechanics to be able to officiate if necessary.
• Supervise officials, coaches and fans and provide feedback to them as well as the director. Evaluate coaches and their philosophy, communication, and coaching ability.
• Set up and tear down all equipment for practice and games.
• Ensure all games start and end on time. Make decisions relevant to game situations and direct parents to the proper area.
• Report any facility or equipment issues, unsafe conditions or feedback to your supervisor in writing.

We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility and adheres to our mission. Must be able to obtain CPR/AED/FA certification (classes provided through the YMCA), lift up to 50 pounds, able to run to keep up with the pace of the game/play and physically able to perform the duties of the position. This position is open to candidates 16 years of age and older.
