Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Storage Architect to support z/OS storage solutions. This is a fully remote position supporting multiple large data center environments for both commercial and government clients. Candidates must be able to obtain a public trust.
The z/OS Storage Architect is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of enterprise solutions, supporting daily storage subsystem operations, and leading modernization efforts within the environment.
Duties:
Participate in discovery interviews to identify corporate and client storage strategy, business requirements, and compliance regulations to support design and storage planning
Provide consultation on new solutions, the implementation of new technologies, and 3rd-party vendor management, supporting efforts to modernize and optimize the z/OS Mainframe environment and storage subsystems.
Implement, administer, and support z/OS storage infrastructure, including overseeing storage allocation and provisioning as well as analyzing storage performance.
Manage DASD storage, virtual tape storage, and physical tape environments.
