Zoneton Middle School- School Designated Guest Teacher (SDGT 2026-2027)

This is a full-time position with benefits. The School Designated Guest Teacher (permanent substitute) will report to ZMS each instructional day:

Total Contract Days: 187 days (10-month employee status)

• 170 Instructional Days
• 7 Bullitt Days
• 4 Professional Learning Days
• 2 Teacher Opening and Closing Days
• 4 Paid Holidays

Leave Allocation

• 10 Sick Days
• 3 Personal Days
• 3 Emergency Days

The SDGT will be assigned to ZMS and perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent within the school.

• Travel requirement: If there are no teacher absences at the assigned school on a particular day, the SDGT may be required to fill a teacher absence at another school location that day. Travel reinbursment for milage.

SDGT Requirements: Must have a minimum of a bachelors''s degree

Salary is a "DAILY RATE" based on the board approved salary schedule for the 2026-2027 school year!

Sick Leave and Personal Leave and Emergency Leave (prorated depending upon start date)

Personal Leave not used in school year rolls over to sick leave

Earn 2 more sick days if you do not use any sick leave during school year
