Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

The Supply Chain Analyst serves as a line-side planner supporting eight manufacturing value streams, including large wheel loaders, compactors, and motor graders. This role focuses on managing and improving material flow and production readiness by handling bill of materials (BOM) changes, manufacturing execution system (MES) updates, kitting activities, and validation tasks across both technical and non-technical areas.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a line-side planner supporting all eight value streams, including large wheel loader, compactor, and motor grader production lines.
  • Coordinate and manage supply chain activities to ensure timely availability of materials at the line side.
  • Handle BOM changes to keep product and component information accurate and up to date.
  • Perform MES updates to reflect current production requirements, process changes, and configuration updates.
  • Organize and oversee kitting activities to ensure that all required parts and components are prepared and delivered to the production line in an efficient manner.
  • Execute validation tasks to confirm that BOM changes, MES updates, and kitting processes meet operational and quality requirements.
  • Provide support across both technical and non-technical aspects of the supply chain to maintain smooth production operations.
  • Collaborate with production and other cross-functional teams to resolve material, process, or configuration issues that impact the value streams.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain operations or planning.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage and implement BOM changes accurately.
  • Experience working with or supporting manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate kitting and line-side material flow.
  • Attention to detail when performing validation tasks and updating systems.
  • Capability to support multiple value streams and adapt to changing production needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Training related to mechanical systems or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting heavy equipment or complex assembly production lines.
  • Comfort working across both technical and non-technical tasks within a supply chain function.

Work Environment

This role operates in a manufacturing environment that supports multiple value streams, including large wheel loaders, compactors, and motor graders. The Supply Chain Analyst works closely with production areas and line-side operations, interacting regularly with manufacturing systems such as MES and BOM management tools. The position involves coordinating material flow, kitting, and validation activities in a dynamic, production-driven setting where priorities can shift based on operational needed

This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.25/hr.
