Learn and conduct Accounting Analyst responsibilities during three six-month placements within three core Accounting disciplines, such as: SEC Reporting (quarterly Earnings Releases and Form 10-Qs, annual Form 10-K), Regulatory Reporting (monthly Bank Call Reports, annual consolidated reporting), General Accounting (general ledger management, journal entry processing, accrual and prepaid calculation, business line accounting support), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (risk and control evaluation for processes which impact Wintrust financially), and Accounting Operations (reconciliations, payment processing). We serve clients in all 50 states with more than 200 branch banking locations in Illinois, southwestern Florida, northwestern Indiana, west Michigan and southern Wisconsin and commercial banking offices in Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee, Grand Rapids, Mich., and in key branch banking locations throughout Illinois.
