Maintain industry knowledge: Stay abreast of industry news, current events, and trends that impact transportation in order to serve as the subject matter expert for Truckload (TL, Partial Truckload (PTL) Less than Truckload (LTL), and Intermodal (IMDL). The Surface Transportaion Manager is responsible for the daily operations of CORT's surface transportation, managing vendor relationships, analyzing metrics and data, assisting districts with transportation related issues, reporting, and continuous improvement projects.
