Identifying opportunities and needs for additional reimbursement opportunities and compliance.</li><li>Ensures standard AbleLight operating procedures are followed to scale growth and achieve quality.</li></ul><div><strong><br/>10% Community Relationships & Quality:       </strong></div><ul><li>Seeks data from internal and external resources, participates in local community organizations, professional groups, and industry memberships to ensure quality-focused, efficient delivery of person-centered care and services to those we are blessed to serve.</li><li>Responsible for coordination, oversight of nursing, quality, and operational leadership within operational scope, in collaboration with the person supported, parents & guardians, external clinical or local/state representative & providers, and internal partners.</li><li>Ensure timely, comprehensive, and objective documentation fully using AbleLight’s health information technology, human resource technology, and financial technology.</li><li>Complete all individual training and development and direct Managers in adherence to training of direct reports within scope as required by local, state, federal and AbleLight policies and procedures.</li><li>Ensures all related state and local licensing, regulations, and expectations are implemented consistently across the homes in their area of accountability.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities for Success in the Role:<br/></strong>Knowledge: <em>Theoretical or practical understanding of a subject acquired and increases through experience.<br/></em>Skills: <em>Proficiencies developed through training, practice, or experience.<br/></em>Abilities: <em>The level and quality of being able to do something improved with training and experience.</em></div><ul><li>Knowledge – serving others, giving & receiving feedback, holding self & others accountable.</li><li>Skills – collaboration, listening skills, conflict resolution, and leveraging technology to the fullest.</li><li>Ability – quality and continuous improvement of self and processes.</li></ul><div><br/></div><div><strong>Minimum Job Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Five to Seven years of previous experience in a work position, volunteer/community role, or educational setting that focuses on serving and helping others. Five plus years of leadership experience in a related field leading a dispersed team over a broad geography and proven success with market growth.</li><li><strong>Travel/Flexibility:</strong> Ability to be flexible on hours and residential settings in your local community to assist colleagues and those we serve.</li></ul>

<div><strong>Direct Support Professional / DSP/ Caregiver</strong><br/><br/>AbleLight (formerly Bethesda) is a nonprofit organization with the belief that the world shines brighter when people with disabilities reach their full potential! We provide life-changing services to support people at every step of their lives - from behavior supports and job coaches, to group homes and shared living sites, to opportunities for higher education through AbleLight College - and SO much more!<br/><br/>We currently have On-Call/Traveling Direct Support Professional positions available at our Group Homes in Littleton and Centennial, CO.<strong></strong><br/> <br/>The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing direct support, positive direction, and assistance to the individuals we support of all ages allowing them to be more effective in their everyday lives. <br/><br/><strong>Job Duties:</strong></div><ul><li>Helping residents with dining, mobility, health, and hygiene activities.</li><li>Accompanying individuals while running errands.</li><li>Attending special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events.</li><li>Assisting our individuals in achieving their personal goals and desires.</li><li>Scheduling doctor’s appointments.</li></ul><div><br/><strong>Qualifications/Details:</strong></div><ul><li>High school graduate or equivalent.</li><li>Ability to pass a background check.</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain all training and certifications as required by Federal and State Licensure requirements.</li><li>Must be able to be on-call.</li><li>Up to 30 hours per week. (On-Call status)</li></ul>
