Shipping and Receiving Associates are responsible for ensuring that all shipping documents and functions are completed accurately and on time. Shipping and Receiving Clerks also communicates with customers to coordinate outbound freight schedules, maintains accurate record of all received product, and assists in resolving inventory discrepancies. Essential Functions: <ul><li>Effectively communicate with Quality Dept, to ensure that all parts shipping are properly identified and shop orders are matched to corresponding parts </li><li>Maintain traceability on all parts, including those with special identification </li><li>Part Mark parts as required by blueprints and or picture identification books. Apply clear coat over part marking identification as required </li><li>Communicate with Quality Dept that all finished parts are ready for final inspection </li><li>Properly wrap and pack parts to ensure that no damage will occur during shipping. Using foam end protectors, paper, bubble wrap, foam, cardboard dividers, poly tubing, desiccant, etc. </li><li>Contact carrier representative to make arrangements for pickups for outgoing shipments </li><li>Fill out bill of ladings, (electronic or hard-copy) </li><li>Create and receive purchase orders for outside vendors </li><li>Record and enter into VISUAL shipment data, such as tracking number, weight, part quantity, shipping carton quantity, carrier; submit to supervisor for data entry </li><li>Locate all finished and detail parts in warehouse location and properly record warehouse location and traceability </li><li>Safely and efficiently operates forklift </li><li>May operate motor vehicle to obtain or deliver parts and supplies needed </li><li>Performs other tasks and/or assignments as required </li><li>Regular attendance on-site at the workplace is required </li></ul>Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>High School diploma or GED equivalent, preferred. </li><li>One year of relevant experience, preferred. </li></ul>Other Required Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>Valid Driver's license and acceptable safe driving record to meet insurance requirements </li><li>Forklift experience is preferred; forklift certification must be obtained upon hire and maintained throughout employment </li><li>Ability to read and accurately interpret pick tickets, bills of lading, and similar inventory documents </li><li>Attention to detail and demonstration of accurate counting, measurement, and associated recordkeeping </li><li>Professional written and verbal communication skills (English) </li><li>Consistently legible handwriting (English) </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word </li><li>ERP experience is preferred </li></ul>Physical Demands and Work Environment To perform the essential functions of the role, employees must be able to perform the following activities with or without reasonable accommodations: <ul><li>Regularly stand and walk throughout the facility, stand for long periods to perform job duties </li><li>Regularly lift, carry (short distances), and push/pull up to 60 pounds </li><li>Frequently bend, crawl, stoop, squat, or kneel </li><li>Accurately distinguish colors, letters, and numbers </li><li>Visual acuity to interpret readings on gauges and other measuring devices </li><li>Use hands and fingers to manually inspect and assess, lift, rotate, and wrap or otherwise package parts </li></ul>Working Conditions Work is performed in a manufacturing warehouse environment where working conditions may vary significantly; the employee will be exposed to: <ul><li>Moderate Noise </li><li>Excessive noise, hearing protection required (occasionally) </li><li>Dust, smoke, fumes/vapors (occasionally) </li><li>Extreme temperatures (occasionally) </li><li>Sharp instruments including box cutters, scissors, and other tools used in packaging/shipping </li></ul> The use of PPE, including hearing protection, eye and hand protection, and use of safety footwear may be required We appreciate your interest in Accurus Aerospace; however, only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted. Operates grinders and similar powered hand tools to remove burrs and blend or polish surfaces to correct minor machining errors; uses carbide burr tools to remove excess material from parts without causing damage to parts .

Deburr Technicians are responsible for removing small imperfections (burrs) from machined metal parts. Our deburr technicians comply with customer and industry specifications to ensure the quality of machined parts. The Deburr Lead performs the regular duties of a deburr technician and is responsible for monitoring and motivating a group of employees toward achieving department objectives. Essential Functions To perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. <ul><li>Selects the type of finish specified per work instruction to determine the amount of metal to be removed, and examines the part for the acceptability of the finish </li><li>Operates grinders and similar powered hand tools to remove burrs and blend or polish surfaces to correct minor machining errors; uses carbide burr tools to remove excess material from parts without causing damage to parts </li><li>Performs blending of metals, including steel, aluminum, magnesium, and titanium; possesses the ability to create radius on areas of parts by hand </li><li>Performs work in compliance with prints and written specifications; selects appropriate methods and tools to comply with specs </li><li>Inspects equipment daily for damage; promptly reports issues to supervision and may enter work orders or communicate with maintenance personnel; inspects and replaces worn belts and grinding wheels; may perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on tools & equipment used </li><li>May operate tumblers; loads & unloads tumbler hopper as needed </li><li>Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area and ensures others maintain the same </li><li>Follows directions consistently and accepts responsibility for actions and work product </li><li>Complies with applicable manufacturing processes, work procedures, and supervisor instructions </li><li>Adheres to safety guidelines and procedures; proactively identifies job hazards and collaborates with leadership to minimize hazards and ensure employee safety </li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned </li><li>Regular attendance on-site at the workplace is required </li></ul> We appreciate your interest in Accurus Aerospace; however, only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted.
