Wireless Field Technicians install and troubleshoot wireless internet and telephone services for our customers.

Wireless Field Technicians install and troubleshoot wireless internet and telephone services for our customers. Job Responsibilities<ul class="ul1"><li class="li4">Installation of AMA TechTel's products and services. </li><li class="li4">Service and maintenance of AMA TechTel's products and services. </li><li class="li4">Assist customers in diagnosing customer system and equipment problems. </li><li class="li4">Assist other departments when needed. </li><li class="li4">Perform normal duties during on call rotation. </li><li class="li4">Maintain company vehicle </li><li class="li4">Maintain significant amounts of company inventory </li><li class="li4">Maintain accurate records concerning job activities </li></ul>Requirements:<ul class="ul1"><li class="li4">Must have knowledge of fiber to the home//wireless/cable/satellite TV type installations.</li><li>Must have working knowledge of computer networking implementations. </li><li class="li4">Must have good customer service skills. </li><li class="li4">Ability to work on rooftops. </li><li class="li4">Ability to work in and navigate confined spaces for long periods of time. </li><li class="li4">Ability to safely climb ladders with tools and equipment.</li><li class="li4">Ability to pull a trailer and operate drop bury equipment when needed.</li><li class="li4">Must be able to work in all weather conditions. </li><li class="li4">Must have a high school diploma, a clean driving record and be able to pass a criminal background check.</li><li class="li4">Will be required to pass drug and alcohol screenings.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul class="ul1"><li class="li4">We offer a compensation plan including excellent benefits with 401K, health insurance, and a competitive starting salary. </li></ul>

Provide field support for new broadcast and backhaul site construction in the following areas: on site supervision, equipment delivery coordination, path alignment coordination, equipment installation, microwave turn up and optimization. Coordinate and perform maintenance of broadcast and backhaul sites which involves the emergency generator, batteries/power equipment, AC units, microwave dishes, antennas, towers, locks and fences, coax cabling, etc.

AMA TechTel (AMA) is seeking a Tower Technician to manage wireless tower sites throughout Texas. The Tower Technician is responsible for the installation of wireless equipment on towers and on the ground, preventative maintenance and optimization of companies fixed wireless network, and emergency and after-hours outage response.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Must have the physical ability and the willingness to climb towers up to 500 feet. </li><li>Install, commission, and integrate microwave backhaul and broadcast equipment in the field.</li><li>Implement, conduct and coordinate the smooth operation, repair, maintenance and expansion of all systems in market.</li><li>Provide field support for new broadcast and backhaul site construction in the following areas: on site supervision, equipment delivery coordination, path alignment coordination, equipment installation, microwave turn up and optimization. </li><li>Coordinate and perform maintenance of broadcast and backhaul sites which involves the emergency generator, batteries/power equipment, AC units, microwave dishes, antennas, towers, locks and fences, coax cabling, etc. </li><li>Maintain PSTN backhaul circuits by routine or fault testing and repairing as needed.</li><li>Maintain multi-sector broadcast radios, repair or replace as necessary, and take radio measurements to ensure appropriate signal strength or quality. </li><li>Maintain microwave radio equipment by aligning frequencies with test equipment, performing annual FCC checks to ensure radio operations are in accordance with FCC guidelines and test for faulty radios.</li><li>Determine and order supplies and equipment needed for repairs and replacement of defective system components. </li><li>Receive, investigate, resolve and track trouble tickets. </li></ul>Position Requirements:<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle </li><li style="line-height:normal">Must be willing and able to travel weekly</li><li style="line-height:normal">Ability to climb towers at heights up to 500 feet </li><li style="line-height:normal">Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions </li><li style="line-height:normal">Ability to work independently with limited supervision </li><li style="line-height:normal">Excellent physical condition and stamina </li><li style="line-height:normal">Great communication and interpersonal skills </li><li style="line-height:normal">Organized with a strong attention to detail </li><li style="line-height:normal">Self-starter, team player, results oriented</li><li style="line-height:normal">Strong PC and IP trouble shooting skills</li><li style="line-height:normal">2 plus years of field experience </li></ul>
