<div>Ark Animal Hospital in Casper, Wyoming is accepting applications for a veterinary technician. </div><div>Our solo practioner, small animal practice has been delivering quality veterinary services with compassion to the community for 30 years. This opportunity offers a full-time work week with some weekends, holidays, and on call hours as assigned.</div><div><br/></div><div>The candidate we are seeking is detail oriented, displays time management skills, follows directions and medical care plans, maintains a positive attitude, displays ethical professionalism, honesty, responsibility, self-motivation, ambition, integrity, humility, patience and strong interpersonal communication skills.</div><div><br/></div><div>While working with us you will enhance the following skills: communication, quality customer service, working independently, completing tasks, confidence, and opportunities to advance your skills in a welcoming environment.</div><div><br/></div><div><strong>Technical skills will be used on a daily basis and are required for the position, including:</strong></div><ul><li>Specimen collection including venipuncture.</li><li>Anesthesia monitoring.</li><li>Interpreting fecal diagnostics.</li><li>Preparing and staining cytology slides.</li><li>Standard safety precautions.</li><li>Administering oral, injectable, and intravenous medications.</li><li>Dentistry cleanings.</li><li>Triage.</li><li>Radiology.</li><li>Nursing care.</li><li>Sterile aseptic technique.</li><li>Assisting in surgery.</li><li>Caring for both hospitalized and boarding patients.</li></ul><div><br/></div><div>Applicants who are licensed or have completed vocational degrees are preferred.
