The ALC provides a nurturing learning environment where children who have often experienced failure in school can finally succeed. Started in 2010, Astor's Day Student Program enables children from the local community to stay at home and attend a more structured educational environment that better meets their needs.The Astor Learning Center Behavior Analyst collaborates with educators to assess and develop behavioral interventions for students with disabilities in schools. The Behavior Analyst coordinates support in the development and delivery of services to address the social, emotional, and behavioral learning and needs of students.Job Responsibilities:· Familiarity with social-emotional learning, tiered behavioral programming, and intervention services.· Knowledge of current research, trends, and best practices related to behavior intervention.· Responsible for conducting FBAs and creating/implementing BIPs across the educational setting.· Ability to implement evidence-based practices.· Collaborates with classroom teachers to facilitate instruction and learning.· Provides suggestions and support for all staff to implement and track behavior plans.· Serves as member of CSE team.· Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.· Demonstrates the ability to manage and collaborate with therapeutic support counselors.· Ability to work effectively within the school setting with students, staff, and families.· Fulfills agency expectations corresponding to the agency Core Values.· Complies with agency requirements for this position regarding certification and physical capabilities.What we provide:· Offers four personal days.· Full benefit package and ongoing professional development at no cost to staff.· Enjoy time off per the School Calendar.· Sick time is provided.· Fully paid individual long-term disability and life insurance.· Eligible for participation in agency medical and dental plan both individual and family, with small employee contribution.· Opportunities to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.· Collaboration with a team of dedicated professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.· Room for growth and advancement within the organization.· Child Development Associate credential training provided at no cost to the staffWant to know why our team loves working at Astor?
