You will be a part of a dining and beverage experience that sets a new standard in the region. The Allred s Bites + Bar offers guests craft cocktails, a menu of curated small plates and one of the best views in the Pacific Northwest. From espresso and pastries to local beers and on extensive Bourbon collection, our lobby restaurant is the perfect place to unwind and take in the one-of-a-kind energy of the Oregon Coast. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our team and help elevate our guests and employees experience to new heights.<br/></p><p><b>Job Description: </b>As the Chef/Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant back-of-house. You will ensure an exceptional guest experience and maintain the highest standards of service and quality, while leading and inspiring a dedicated team.<br/></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br/></p><ul><li>Create remarkable experiences for our colleagues and guests<br/></li><li>Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage while managing labor costs<br/></li><li>Manage the kitchen inventory and ensure supplies are fresh and of high quality<br/></li><li>Ensure kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, and sanitation requirements<br/></li><li>Coordinate and prepare meals ordered by guests<br/></li><li>Ensure proper food temperatures when cooking and proper storage afterward<br/></li><li>Maintain and inspect kitchen equipment and utensils, recommending repairs or replacements as needed<br/></li><li>Assist in the creation of the restaurant s menu based on food trends, food costs, guest requests, and seasonal availability<br/></li><li>Assist in creation and maintenance of operating/training manuals for the kitchen<br/></li><li>Support the General Manager in setting and reaching goals for the department<br/></li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b><br/></p><ul><li>3+ years proven experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager or similar role in a relaxed upscale dining establishment<br/></li><li>Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
