Position Overview This position involves performing daily warehouse operations- including fuel containment checks, inventory management, and opening/closing procedures-while supporting the Equipment and Fleet Operations divisions with administrative and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-minded, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Tank Operations<ul><li>Rebuilding Tanks and Pumps to meet Diesel Direct's Quality. Fuel and Oil tanks</li><li>Load and unload tanks with a ramp truck or flat bed</li><li>Service tech in yard and field work</li><li>Install 12v and 115v pumps</li><li>Diagnose pumps issues and repairs in field</li><li>Special projects that require light mechanical experience</li><li>Install and diagnose tank monitors</li></ul>Warehouse Operations<ul><li>Perform daily opening and closing procedures, including perimeter checks, tank verification, lighting, and safety inspections</li><li>Inspect and maintain containment areas for leaks, debris, and spillage; wipe up any contamination</li><li>Confirm all tanks, poppit caps, and valves are closed, plugged, and secured</li><li>Verify pumps and nozzles are properly cradled and in the off position</li><li>Check and drain catch buckets, nozzle holders, and trash containers</li><li>Confirm fire extinguishers and emergency spill drums are in place and charged</li><li>maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse surrounding yard</li><li>Make drums with sensitive oil-based products</li><li>Pull inventory into trucks</li><li>Load inventory into trucks</li><li>Trackig inventory and inventory counts</li><li>Emergency deliveries </li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>You must be comfortable working outdoors in all-weather conditions</li><li>Able to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and staining for long periods</li><li>Experience with gas and diesel products: hazmat experience required </li><li>CDL B preferred</li><li>Air brakes endorsement required </li><li>Forklift experience required (1year+)</li><li>1+ year experience in outdoor or fuel warehouse operations</li><li>You must be able to read and understand work orders</li><li>Needs to be able to provide written and verbale updates</li><li>Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet time-sensitive deadlines</li><li>Mechanical/Plumbing experience preferred</li><li>Willingness to work overtime and extend hours as needed</li><li> You must pass a drug test </li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (day), potential responsibilities after hours (limited)</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>401(k) with employer matching</li><li>Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance</li><li>Paid time off and holiday pay</li><li>Career advancement opportunities</li></ul>Equal Employment Opportunity Diesel Direct is an equal opportunity employer.
