Packing Associates work well independently and in a group setting, with and without supervision, and can carry out all responsibilities in a timely manner. JOB REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly motivated people who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. </li><li>Moving, sorting, vacuum-sealing, and packaging goods in accordance with Health Department </li><li>regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures </li><li>Meeting with supervisor(s) to review information pertinent to the job performance, to include daily </li><li>assignments, business levels, lost or damaged items, etc. </li><li>Verifying that all items on the Packing List and/or Sales Order are organized to be loaded onto the </li><li>truck properly </li><li>Labeling all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures </li><li>Able to work independently with or without supervision </li><li>Maintaining ongoing communication with supervisors and/or managers </li><li>Organizing the warehouse and packing facility daily </li><li>Possessing strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>• Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed at all times </li><li>• Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager(s) of management </li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDS<ul><li>Frequently needs to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, in extreme non-weather heat, and in extreme non-weather cold </li><li>Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and/or hear. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day, and push a cart weighing up to 100 lbs. </li><li>Constantly exposed to both hot and cold temperature conditions is pertinent. </li><li>Follows all safety procedures, uses restaurant safety words during all shifts, and asks for assistance </li><li>as needed </li><li>Must practice proper body mechanics and use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid </li><li>injury: </li><li>Cutting gloves when cutting </li><li>Back support belt when lifting heavy items </li><li>Goggles and long gloves when working with chemicals </li><li>Other PPE as needed (if applicable) </li></ul> Specific physical requirements and environmental conditions will vary based on the role.
