Equitable Pay and Benefits: Equitable Total Rewards ProgramQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelors Degree5+ years of corporate finance or capital markets experience at financial institutionsKnowledge of and experience with capital markets instruments and derivativesWorking knowledge of US statutory accounting, reserving, and RBC rules, particularly for variable annuities preferredAbility to develop cross-functional relationships to build cohesive and collaborative teams, acting as strategic driver and manager of key strategic initiativesProject management experience with the ability to demonstrate leadership in the sponsorship and execution of multiple, concurrent and complex business initiativesExecutive presence required to present to senior management and various committee form Preferred Qualifications:Masters or other advanced degreeExperience with spread lending programs at insurance companies Established critical thinking, sound judgment, complex problem-solving and execution skillsAdept at persuasive communications, supported by insightful, fact-based analyses and industry expertiseExperience with Federal Home Loan Banks or Farmer MacExpertise with liquidity management in a financial services companyExperience reviewing and negotiations of contracts, working with EQH’s internal Legal DepartmentSkillsContinuous Learning: Understanding of the rationale behind the necessity to continually learn and grow and the ability to seek performance feedback and identify approaches to improve own performance and that of others. Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and execute solutions to optimize the company’s capital structure and contingent liquidity facilitiesConduct debt/equity capital raising projects (senior, hybrid, preferred, equity issuance), evaluating market opportunities and taking into consideration investors’ expectations, peer practices, rating agency treatment and balance sheet impactGrow and optimize the Company’s spread lending program – including FHLB, FABN, repo and securities lendingRecommend and implement capital return strategies, including dividend and share buybacksHelp manage relationships with 20 US and global banksCoach and develop junior members of the Capital Markets teamIn office schedule: This role will be working in office 2-3 days per weekThe base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000.
