Responsibilities include: • Paint stain & varnish using brushes and rollers • Cleaning, sanding, sandblasting, scraping, and brushing to prepare for painting • Repairs surfaces to be painted, including plastering and Sheetrock finishing • Erects scaffolding, movable and immovable staging, and various rigging to gain access to difficult areas • May have to move furniture and equipment as necessary • Mixing and matching paint • Requisitions materials and supplies from the Stockroom • Waterproofing • Sets glass and applies putty • Occasionally may hang wallpaper.
