Duties and responsibilities consist of providing Mammography services and to operate specialized X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of breast tissue, allowing doctors to accurately diagnose breast conditions by performing mammograms, which includes preparing patients for the procedure, positioning them correctly, and ensuring optimal image quality while adhering to radiation safety guidelines; they also need to maintain and troubleshoot the equipment and may assist with patient tracking and record keeping. · Shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States, from an FDA-approved body throughout the term of this contract and certification and registration in mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), which requires to first be certified in general radiography and meet specific educational and clinical experience requirements in mammography.
