Security Dispatch team members monitor security and life safety systems and initiate response, monitor security cameras, provide emergency response coordination and communication, act as a central point of contact for agency security inquiries and requests, assist building operations with after-hours support, and are responsible for security equipment cleaning, inventory and testing. Must not have been convicted of any misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, unauthorized sale of information or evidence, controlled substances (including for marijuana), or two or more alcohol related offenses, per MCL 338.1060 §10(1)(c).
