Tasks require operating assigned equipment and vehicles, entering/exiting/or accessing refuse vehicle approximately 300 times per day, the ability to exert physical effort in heavy lifting/moving, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of heavy weight (up to 100 pounds), and typically involving some combination of walking, standing, or stepping and climbing for extended periods of time, balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, handling, hearing, kneeling, reaching, repetitive motion, and mental and visual acuity. Maintain communication with higher authorities as to work progress, operations problems, need for equipment and/or materials, delay in completion schedule and related items, providing accurate and timely information.
