Leading edge clinical services include orthopedics, spine, and sports medicine; cardiology/cardiothoracic services including a diagnostic cardiac catheterization laboratory performing peripheral angiograms and stenting, carotid stenting and pacemaker implants; non-invasive cardiology services including Holter monitoring, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, echocardiography and trans-esophageal echocardiography; the Acute Rehabilitation Unit providing a full range of inpatient and outpatient services such as those of the North Jersey Swallowing Center; the John Victor Machuga Diabetes Education Center, offering comprehensive education and consultation programs; and expanded Ambulatory Care Center; as well as liver, biliary, and pancreatic consultation services. Performs delegated functions as a member of the Patient Transport Department to provide the following services: transport patients to and from testing or treatment areas, STAT requests for specimens and patients, discharge patients to designated areas, transport of outpatients to inpatient and testing areas, and other delivery services utilizing the Transport Tracking System.
