At MPP, you'll be part of a team that uses state-of-the-art technology to create components that power some of the most recognizable aircraft in the world, including the Boeing 737 MAX, the Airbus A320neo, and other commercial aircraft. Job Summary: Manufactures machined components according to customer requirements and production schedule; including CNC machining, drill, mill, lathe operations, deburring and cleaning. Uses Monitoring and Measuring Equipment (M&ME) to inspect product for dimensional conformance. Reads and interprets Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) data. Complies with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements; supports business goals and objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Runs CNC programs; perform required mill, drill, lathe, and clean operations on production parts </li><li>Reads and understands blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructions including GD&T data on machine prints. </li><li>Works with Engineering to test and create CNC programs and Machining processes for production parts </li><li>Requires minimal supervision to plan and schedule workload according to production schedule and troubleshoots Machining issues that arise to meet Delivery/Quality needs </li><li>Inspects, maintains, and logs preventative maintenance on equipment needed for inspection and machining. </li><li>Generates inspection reports and First Article Inspection (FAI) reports. </li><li>Sets up material, machines, and tooling according to work instructions to produce machined components. </li><li>Cleans work area, tools, and equipment at end of shift. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul>Schedule Options:<ul><li>Day (1st) Shift: 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday </li><li>Night (2nd) Shift: 4:30pm-3am, Monday-Thursday - includes 10% pay differential! </li></ul>All Initial Training will occur on Day Shift.
