Licensure/Certification • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); • Must maintain Dietitian/Nutritionist license with the Florida Department of Health; • Must hold one of the following specialty certifications: o Any of the eight different specialties offered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); o Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators; o Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) from the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification; o Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) from the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice; o International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners Experience One (1) years clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian.
