Duties include but are not limited to the following: Takes, monitors, and records vital signs; Observes, records, and reports symptoms, reactions, and changes in patient conditions; Prepares and administers prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies; Educates staff, families, and patients on routine care and prevention procedures; Inventories, orders, and stocks medications and medical supplies; Maintains medical charts and records; May render emergency care in crisis situations; Schedules and transports individuals to their medical appointments; and. Minimum Education and Experience: Diploma from an approved nursing program, or an associates degree in nursing; bachelors degree in nursing preferred; two years of experience working as a Registered Nurse; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
