Job responsibilities include the (1) issuance of new, renewed, or modified NJPDES permits for the discharge of industrial or sanitary wastewater to ground waters of the State consistent with the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:14A, (2) issuance of TWA permits for septic systems consistent with the provision of N.J.A.C. 7:9A, and (3) providing responses to the multitude of daily emails and phone calls from permittees, citizens, engineers, and health departments. Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or in Environmental Planning, Environmental Policy, or Physical Geography; or in Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Bio-resource Engineering.
