Summary:The Assistant Manager (AM) assists the General Manager (GM) in leading and coaching team members to maximize the guest experience. The AM is accountable for the store's operation in the GM’s absence. The Assistant Managers are our pool of future senior operations leaders.When You Work:<ul><li>Day Shift: 6 AM - 2 PM (1st Shift)</li><li>Evening Shift: 2 PM - 10 PM (2nd Shift)</li><li>Overnight Shift: 10 PM - 6 AM (3rd Shift)</li><li>Weekend Availability Expected</li><li>Overtime Availability (Optional)</li></ul>What We Need:<ul><li>18+ years of age.</li><li>2+ years’ experience in the retail, food service, or hospitality industries.</li><li>Must be able to serve guests, communicate, and handle cash transactions effectively.</li><li>Must be accountable, reliable, and punctual.</li><li>Must have sufficient visual ability to check identification and process credit cards.</li><li>Must be able to lift/stock inventory weighing up to 50 pounds (lifting cases of milk, beer, soda, etc.)</li></ul>What’s Available for You:<ul><li>Weekly Pay</li><li>Quarterly Bonus Potential</li><li>Ongoing Leadership Development & Training</li><li>401K Matching</li><li>Affordable Healthcare Insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Healthy Meal Perks</li><li>Fuel & Store Discounts</li><li>Annual Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,500</li><li>Pet & Life Insurance Programs</li><li>Aggressive Referral Bonus Program</li><li>Internal Preference for Promotions</li></ul>What You Will Be Doing:<ul><li>Supervising all aspects of store operations in the absence of the General Manager.</li><li>Ensures “best in class” service is extended and delivered to all Twice Daily guests.</li><li>Serves as a retail ambassador for the Twice Daily brand.</li><li>Develops a passion for the Twice Daily offering and culture in self and others.</li><li>Acts as role model for all elements of the Twice Daily culture and core values.</li><li>Trains, develops, and leads team members to go above and beyond for each guest.</li><li>Provides daily coaching to individual staff on their roles in delivering the Twice Daily store culture and values.</li><li>Ensures all “fresh all day” products are produced, merchandised, and maintained according to Twice Daily standards.</li><li>Ensures all required inventory levels, freshness, and product rotation standards are maintained.</li><li>Maintains all Twice Daily interior and exterior image standards.</li><li>Performs basic math functions to collect payments, make accurate change, and maintain an accurate cash drawer.</li><li>Keeps the store clean and orderly, including bathrooms and fuel dispensers.</li><li>Participates in stocking items and marketing promotion efforts.</li><li>Memorizes product locations throughout the store and guides customers while providing suggestions as needed.</li><li>Assists the General Manager in hiring activities.</li><li>Participates in employer branding and recruitment marketing programs.</li><li>Reports to work on time, ready to work scheduled shift.</li></ul>Things We’d Prefer:<ul><li>Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.</li><li>Prior experience in a C-Store and/or food service environment.</li><li>Prior supervisory experience.</li><li>Experience working with Microsoft Suite of products.</li><li>Desire for a long-term career in retail services.</li><li>Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.</li></ul> Who We Are:
