Job Description THIS POSITION HAS NO DIRECT MANAGEMENT OR SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES POSITION SUMMARY The Facility Technician role ensures operational safety and equipment reliability by performing preventative maintenance, assisting with equipment installation/demolition, and maintaining site housekeeping. The position acts as a safety role model by documenting hazards in the GDC database, supporting continuous improvement, and collaborating with contractors to optimize production. KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Follows all company policies regarding safety, quality and attendance. Performs duties in a safe manner and reports all observed safety hazards to management. Acts as a role model for safety on shift. Participates in safety programs by reporting Unsafe Conditions, Unsafe Acts and Close Calls; enters Near Miss data and Observations into Global Data Center Database (GDC) 2. Regularly inspects and maintains production support equipment including but not limited to, Material Handling Systems, wire cutter, oil filling/recovery, conveyor and stretch wrapper. 3. Assists with assembly, installation, disassembly, and demolition of production equipment and building support equipment as required for upgrades or new installations 4. Maintains a neat and orderly work area; meets plant and department housekeeping standards. May be assigned additional responsibilities as needed 5. Accurately record/document detailed information regarding work performed 6. Works with contractors as needed for maintenance or project work 7. Maintains building and grounds 8. Participates in employee driven teams and continuous improvement projects to address scrap, quality, safety or other production related issues 9. Knowledge of specialized field gained through specialized training equivalent to one year of college or trade school or equivalent experience of four to five years preferred 2. In addition to the educational requirements, two to four years of experience in industrial and facility repair 3. Must be able to perform each essential duty adequately 4. Possess basic mechanical skills 5. Demonstrate ability to follow written and verbal instructions with little or no supervision 6. Ability to read mechanical drawings and documentation 7. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment 8. Able to sit to prepare reports and use computer equipment, walking to inspect facility including raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods and overall manufacturing and warehouse operations 9. Ability to work in high room temperatures and humidity. 10. Required to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally; and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently; and/or up to 40 pounds of force regularly; frequently will lift 30 pounds 11. The Mold Tech will lead by example and will perform supervisory tasks such as designating Packer / Handlers and other team members to proper locations to meet production schedules.

Job Description THIS POSITION HAS FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES POSITION SUMMARY The Mold Tech will report to the Shift Supervisor any special instructions to ensure production is operating and quality standards are being maintained. The Mold Tech will lead by example and will perform supervisory tasks such as designating Packer / Handlers and other team members to proper locations to meet production schedules. In performing these responsibilities, associates are to work safety, efficiently, and cooperatively in a manner that demonstrates team member involvement. The Mold Tech works with the Shift Supervisor to operate, troubleshoot, document, and communicate on all equipment that is not performing within specifications. KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Set up machines for operation, change material and color to meet production schedules 2. Must have a technical understanding of process and raw materials used. 3. Keep supervisor/management informed of all problems. 4. Start up machines and monitor quality at start up. 5. Make appropriate adjustments to machines to maintain efficient production levels and document appropriately. 6. Respond to QA Techs by adjusting machines to maintain appropriate sizes and standards. 7. Oversee proper packaging procedures 8. Review production schedules and ensure machines are running production to meet customer demands 9. Respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance to correct machine malfunctions and/or Packer/Handler problems. 10. Use proper Lockout/tagout procedures 11. Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance Departments concerning machine operations and malfunctions 12. Inspect scrap to prevent any usable product from being ground and record scrap numbers 13. Be able to do the packer/handler job to assist with relief breaks 14. Assist with Material Handling 15. Keep the floor stocked with materials required for production (fitments/handles/labels/tape, etc….) 16. Maintain a safe working environment 17. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ol><li>Select the appropriate type of sheet metal based on project specifications and requirements.</li><li>Accurately measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets using precision tools.</li><li>Cut sheet metal by hand or operate power shears with precision to achieve desired shapes and sizes.</li><li>Drill precise holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.</li><li>Fasten seams or joints using various techniques such as welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering, maintaining structural integrity and durability.</li><li>Operate fabricating machines including shears, brakes, and presses, utilizing forming rolls to cut, bend, block, form, or straighten materials as needed.</li><li>Utilize scribers, dividers, and squares to accurately mark dimensions on material surfaces.</li><li>Assemble, install, and align dies in press according to specifications, ensuring precise positioning and functionality.</li><li>Position workpieces against fixtures or stops on machine beds or dies, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.</li><li>Monitor press operations closely, starting and observing machines to detect any misalignment or malfunctions, and performing basic troubleshooting as needed.</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep of fabrication machinery, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.</li><li>Inspect assembled components and installations for conformance to specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy.</li><li>Maintain a clean and orderly work area, promoting efficiency and safety in the workplace.</li><li>Adhere strictly to all safety standards and advocate safe work practices to coworkers, fostering a culture of workplace safety.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ol> Qualifications and Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Experience: Metal fabrication, welding, or assembly experience preferred.
