This role manages day‑to‑day accounting activities, prepares financial statements, supports audits and regulatory filings, and serves as a key financial partner to both internal teams and external clients.</p><p style="margin:0px"> </p><p style="margin:0px">This position is ideal for an experienced accountant who is detail‑oriented, deadline‑driven, and comfortable managing multiple client accounts. A CPA is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:
<p style="margin:0px"/><ul><li>Prepare daily and monthly financial reporting for assigned client accounts</li><li>Monitor bank accounts, process transfers, manage cash flow, and prepare bank reconciliations</li><li>Prepare and analyze investment activity, including interest income and gains/losses</li><li>Prepare client invoices and manage collections, including delinquency follow‑up when needed</li><li>Maintain accurate financial records, control sheets, and subsidiary ledgers</li><li>Process accounts payable, including broker payments when applicable</li><li>Prepare journal entries and post to the general ledger</li><li>Prepare financial statements, custom reports, and financial analysis for clients</li><li>Complete internal accounting checklists and control procedures</li><li>Assist with CPA audits, Department of Insurance audits, and regulatory filings</li><li>Support actuarial studies by compiling required financial data</li><li>Attend internal meetings and present financial results when requested</li><li>Attend and present financials at client board meetings (travel may be required)</li><li>Use accounting and reporting systems including SAGE, Portman, SOVOS STAT, and internal CCMSI platforms</li><li>Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal partners</li><li>Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance</li></ul><p style="margin:0px"> </p><p style="margin:0px"> </p>

Qualifications:
