Job duties may be modified at any time based on business needs. Essential Job Duties:Financial Operations, Reporting & Systems<ul><li>Oversee and ensure accuracy of financial records, including general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end and year‑end close.</li><li>Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.</li><li>Assist with annual budget preparation, cost allocation plans, and ongoing financial analysis.</li><li>Support administration and optimization of accounting and payroll systems (enterprise‑level systems preferred).</li></ul> Compliance, Grants & Specialized Healthcare Accounting<ul><li>Manage accounting activities related to restricted grants and federal funding, including drawdowns and required financial reporting.</li><li>Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP, funding agency requirements, and organizational policies.</li><li>Apply working knowledge of healthcare‑specific accounting, including 340B pharmacy financial activity and lease accounting under applicable ASC guidance.</li><li>Support leadership and regulatory reporting requirements, including UDS‑related financial data as applicable.</li></ul> Collaboration, Guidance & Professional Development<ul><li>Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions to ensure accurate billing, payroll processing, and related accounting entries.</li></ul><ul><li style="line-height:15pt">Provides support and guidance to finance staff on accounting processes, reporting requirements, and compliance matters, without direct supervisory responsibility.</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in professional development to maintain current knowledge of accounting standards, healthcare finance, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li></ul> Required Minimum Qualifications - Essential Job Duties:<ul><li>Maintains and records accounting transactions for payroll, service billings, lease/rent billings, pharmacy operations, clinical operations, administrative operations, and grants.</li><li>Maintains customer and General Ledger (GL) account setup.</li><li style="color:#1f497d;text-align:justify">Performs monthly bank/GL reconciliations and other reconciliations as required. </li><li>Prepares financial and operating reports such as trial balances, adjustments, closing entries, analysis and interpretation of accounting records.</li><li style="color:#000000;text-align:justify">Assists in the preparation of the annual budget.</li><li>Participates in monthly and fiscal year closing processes.</li><li>Assists in preparing grant budgets, tracks and reconciles grants and completes grant progress reports.</li><li>Performs grant drawdowns as required.</li><li>Performs routine internal compliance audits of financial procedures of all departments as requested by Senior Staff Accountant or designee.</li><li>Ensures that financial records and procedures comply with applicable funding and governmental agencies' requirements, generally accepted accounting principles and CCHCI policies and procedures.</li><li>Assists external auditors in completing the annual audit and other reviews, as necessary.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
