Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with and influence all levels of the organization • Change agent that initiates process improvements including business case, prioritization, implementation, education, and documentation • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff • Self-motivated, results-oriented, able to work without supervision, able to produce consistent, accurate, timely work. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Manage and supervise the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and treasury, and identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
