Major Responsibilities/Activities:<ul><li>Audit, process, and enter vendor invoices, expense reports, check requests, and other accounts payable transactions into SAP in a timely manner</li><li>Process purchase order invoices for payment by matching invoices, receiving documents associated with the purchase order, and inputting the match into the purchase order module of SAP</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements, research, and resolve issues with vendors</li><li>Match documents for payment, calculate use taxes, and ensure correct general ledger coding</li><li>Develop and/or complete Excel spreadsheets to support transactions</li><li>Prepare checks and remittance documentation for mailing and distribution</li><li>Create and maintain documentation files for payable activities</li><li>Utilize SAP and Excel, as needed, to research issues</li><li>Receive and sort incoming mail on a daily basis</li><li>Possess excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively with company personnel and/or vendors regarding payment approval, to research and resolve questions, discrepancies and issues</li></ul>Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>Three to five years of experience processing a large volume of full cycle accounts payable activities</li><li>Must have AP experience in a dynamic organization.</li><li>Knowledge of SAP or other comparable ERP system</li><li>Excellent organizational skills</li><li>Outstanding capacity for managing multiple priorities and producing results in a short amount of time</li><li>Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to create, design, manipulate, and link worksheets.</li></ul>Essential Transferrable Skills/Functions:<ul><li>Confidentiality and accountability</li><li>Collaboration and teamwork</li><li>Attention to detail and analytical thinking</li><li>Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision</li><li>Multi-tasking, dedication, persistence, and patience</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with all employees</li><li>Ability to resolve accounting related issues</li></ul> Essential Physical Functions:Ability to bend, lift and carry at least 30 lbs. Salary<ul><li>Starting Pay - $19 to $21 per hour </li></ul> Who we areHörmann is a premier manufacturer of garage doors.
