About the Role This is a working Salon Manager / Lead Stylist role. You will be actively styling and leading on the floor, especially during busy shifts, while managing the team’s energy, standards, and guest experience. You are the on-site leader during your shifts, trusted to make real-time decisions that keep the bar running smoothly for both guests and the team. Who You Are <ul><li>A licensed cosmetologist with strong, confident styling skills </li><li>Experienced in blowouts, special occasion styling, makeup services, and hair extensions </li><li>A positive, team-first leader who leads by example </li><li>Calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure </li><li>Comfortable giving direction, coaching teammates, and maintaining standards </li><li>Reliable, emotionally mature, and consistent </li><li>Flexible and willing to work peak business times (especially Fridays & Saturdays) </li></ul>What You’ll Do <ul><li>Actively style guests, including hair, makeup, and extension services </li><li>Lead the floor and keep services running smoothly and on time </li><li>Manage the floor and booking flow in real time, including adjusting appointments, making staffing cuts when appropriate, and ensuring proper coverage throughout each shift </li><li>Manage and support a team of stylists and makeup artists </li><li>Help with scheduling, light inventory oversight, and daily operations </li><li>Set the tone for professionalism, teamwork, and guest experience </li><li>Assist with onboarding and coaching new team members </li><li>Handle guest concerns with confidence and care </li><li>Maintain a clean, polished, and welcoming bar environment </li><li>Participate in Blo training and ongoing skill development </li></ul>You Must Have <ul><li>An active state cosmetology license </li><li>Salon experience with hands-on makeup and extension services </li><li>Comfort working across multiple service types (hair + beauty) </li><li>Some leadership, mentoring, or team-lead experience </li><li>Availability to work peak hours, including Fridays and Saturdays </li><li>A genuine passion for beauty, people, and teamwork </li></ul>Non-Negotiables Strong attitude, reliability, and respect for team culture are required-technical skill without the right mindset will not be a fit. You will focus on the profitability of the salon and teach stylists the ins and outs of business. You will set the example as well as provide all hair care services offered by Supercuts and ensure the highest quality is provided for each guest. You will act as a coach and mentor to bring out the best in salon employees ensuring there is always a positive work environment. You will hire, recruit, train, and handle conflicts and client complaints with ease and professionalism. WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONSYou lead by example, are customer service at your core, and can resolve challenges with professionalism. You know how to bring out the best in others by being the best yourself in training, developing your team, creating a positive work environment, providing guidance on business and technical competency matters, and always keeping the salon's bottom line in mind. You have a current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.You can and want to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.You are tech savvy and can perform administrative tasks. You may be closing out the system at the end of the day. You need to know how to read, write, and do basic math. You need to be available to travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight travel.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS  You need good eyesight to observe a guest's hair, including close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.If you enjoy moving around and staying active you can do that here. You'll be standing, lifting, and reaching for the stars. You need to be comfortable with lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements, occasionally lifting 10-25 lbs. We use chemicals and fragrances in our treatments which you will smell.
