About the Role This is a working Salon Manager / Lead Stylist role. You will be actively styling and leading on the floor, especially during busy shifts, while managing the team’s energy, standards, and guest experience. You are the on-site leader during your shifts, trusted to make real-time decisions that keep the bar running smoothly for both guests and the team. Who You Are <ul><li>A licensed cosmetologist with strong, confident styling skills </li><li>Experienced in blowouts, special occasion styling, makeup services, and hair extensions </li><li>A positive, team-first leader who leads by example </li><li>Calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure </li><li>Comfortable giving direction, coaching teammates, and maintaining standards </li><li>Reliable, emotionally mature, and consistent </li><li>Flexible and willing to work peak business times (especially Fridays & Saturdays) </li></ul>What You’ll Do <ul><li>Actively style guests, including hair, makeup, and extension services </li><li>Lead the floor and keep services running smoothly and on time </li><li>Manage the floor and booking flow in real time, including adjusting appointments, making staffing cuts when appropriate, and ensuring proper coverage throughout each shift </li><li>Manage and support a team of stylists and makeup artists </li><li>Help with scheduling, light inventory oversight, and daily operations </li><li>Set the tone for professionalism, teamwork, and guest experience </li><li>Assist with onboarding and coaching new team members </li><li>Handle guest concerns with confidence and care </li><li>Maintain a clean, polished, and welcoming bar environment </li><li>Participate in Blo training and ongoing skill development </li></ul>You Must Have <ul><li>An active state cosmetology license </li><li>Salon experience with hands-on makeup and extension services </li><li>Comfort working across multiple service types (hair + beauty) </li><li>Some leadership, mentoring, or team-lead experience </li><li>Availability to work peak hours, including Fridays and Saturdays </li><li>A genuine passion for beauty, people, and teamwork </li></ul>Non-Negotiables Strong attitude, reliability, and respect for team culture are required-technical skill without the right mindset will not be a fit.
