We create cutting-edge technology that will make the world a better place.Assistant Office Manager You are super-organized and detail oriented. You can juggle many different tasks while helping keep management organized. You're comfortable working in a quickly changing environment at a growing startup and youlook forward to learning quickly. You are comfortable working with all levels of management. You will report to the Director of Operations, but you will work with the team to manage and execute on every-day tasks as well as ad hoc projects. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of the day-to-day office operations. We will count on you to provide an excellent level of service in the areas of operations, staff cohesion, and external partner relationships. Preferred Work Experience 3+ years experience in an administrative or office support roleEducation Bachelor's degree preferred Computer Skills Proficient with Microsoft Office 365  and willing and able to learn new programs as needed. Microsoft Publisher, a plus. Responsibilities <ul><li style="list-style-type:disc">Coordinate Onboarding efforts, follow up to ensure tasks are completed with appropriate staff.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Coordinate job postings as needed</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Assist with scheduling Board of Directors meetings on a quarterly basis.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Manage office and relationships for ad-hoc facility-related touch points such as liaison with building management for visits from external parties. </li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Order catering for the office, which includes planning, pick up, set up, and/or clean up when needed.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Monitor and order office supplies.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Assist with planning company events.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Create content and design monthly company newsletter.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Arrange for guest passes with building management, greet, welcome and direct all visitors appropriately. </li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Arrange travel and hotel accommodations as requested.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Exercise judgment to prioritize urgent requests and needs.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Manage urgent, sensitive, and confidential issues with discretion and integrity.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Handle ad hoc projects, administrative tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Help make the company a more enjoyable place to work while becoming more efficient as we grow. </li><li style="list-style-type:disc">Other related duties as needed. </li></ul>Location: Rochester, NY.
