Laboratory Duties: Laboratory duties and responsibilities will include the following: Collecting blood specimen (capillary, venous finger and heal sticks), reading hematocrits, administering and reading tuberculin tests, testing urine, performing stains and culture tests with slides, performing EKG's when applicable, recording test and related forms. HTN patients get BP prior to seeing provider; DM patients get finger sticks prior and request patients to remove their shoes prior to seeing physician, vital signs, etc.).
