Position Summary: The Pump Service Technician - Field Service Level 1 is an experienced, senior-level technician who independently leads field service work at customer facilities and is responsible for the inspection, disassembly, repair, assembly, testing, and documentation of pumps and rotating equipment within the Grand Rapids Service Center. Working knowledge of metallurgy as it applies to pumps and rotating equipment, including common materials (cast iron, carbon and stainless steels, duplex, bronze, and hard-facing alloys), material compatibility with process fluids, and the basics of hardness and heat treatment.
