Works with various rail line services to collect, understand, and analyze locomotive component/system performance; • Generate, understand, and analyze locomotive fleet reliability metrics report-outs utilizing appropriate data sources; • Act as the Voice of the Customer for the respective locomotive fleets in the assigned region; • Support and develop regular fleet reliability discussions/presentations, both internal and external; • Utilize internal and external tools such as IntelliTrain/Uptime, LTS, SAP, PowerBI and customers' systems; • Coordinate and consult with a variety of departments, such as Design Engineering, Field Service, Supplier Quality, and Production to gather information to understand and analyze locomotive component/system failure data; • Assist in and/or lead the identification, investigation and resolution of product reliability and performance issues; • Provide information to and collaborate with Service Reliability Project and Service Reliability Engineering teams to support fleet and product improvement initiatives; • Actively monitor and track performance of improvements after implementation; • Review, approve, and deliver Service Documentation, such as Service Advisories, Maintenance Instructions, Troubleshooting guides, and Modification Instructions; Education / Training . The position will require occasional walking, standing, stooping, and bending; • Vision/Hearing Requirements - This position spends prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers; • Work Environment - Work in temperature-controlled environment; • Emotional Demands - Required to liaise with multiple levels within the organization, including senior leaders and managers.
