<h2>Job Position: Victim Advocate</h2>Location: Family Advocacy Program Office, NAS Meridian, Meridian, MS Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM <h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and advocacy to victims of domestic abuse and intimate partner violence.</li><li>Assist clients with safety planning, protective orders, and navigating legal/medical systems.</li><li>Accompany victims to interviews, court proceedings, and medical exams as requested.</li><li>Maintain confidential case files in compliance with DoD and installation policy.</li><li>Coordinate with law enforcement, medical staff, and command to ensure victim safety.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 2 years’ direct experience working with victims of domestic violence.</li><li>Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.</li><li>Strong crisis response and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Powered by JazzHR
