Your role will be crucial in safeguarding their civil and human rights, ensuring they have a voice and are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.What You'll Be Doing:<ul><li>Investigating Complaints: Receive and objectively investigate complaints concerning residents in long-term care facilities, taking proactive steps to resolve issues and improve their living conditions.</li><li>Facility Visits: You'll routinely visit all long-term care facilities within our service area, establishing meaningful connections with residents and staff to advocate for enhanced care.</li><li>Community Education: Actively contribute to community education efforts, providing valuable insights into resident rights, current regulations, and long-term care issues. Our team supports each other like family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role you will:<ul><li>Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.</li><li>Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.</li><li>Provide care for the patient in collaboration with the patient/family, and with regard to developmental, cultural and age specific differences.</li><li>Develop and implement patient care plans to include problems, goals, evaluations, and interventions.</li><li>Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient’s clinical condition and results of diagnostic studies.</li><li>Perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all patients.</li><li>Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.</li><li>Work collaboratively with Social Service and Pastoral Care to support and provide families emotional and end of life resources such as Hospice to facilitate a dignified end. </li></ul>What qualifications you will need:</h6><h5><ul><li>Current State of Idaho Registered Nurse License.</li><li>American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification within 7 days of employment start date (provided in orientation)</li><li>Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
