RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE* Job Duties: Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: * Integration of product embedded code into the simulator architecture * Integration of the simulator into a hardware-in-the-loop test environment * Support, maintenance, or enhancement of tools used with the simulation such as the drawing editor or scripting engine extensions * Investigation and remediation of performance issues with the simulator * Troubleshoot and correct functional issues (e.g 'crash', failure to build, incorrect output) * Collaborate with team to develop estimates and support project planning * Support Qualification of simulator components for formal product verification * Documentation creation/update * Address 'ad hoc' questions from simulator users to determine if remediation effort is required Required Qualifications: * Degree in relevant field such as Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics; strong preference for Software Engineering. * Minimum Qualifications: * 5+ years of relevant experience * Must have C coding experience with some knowledge of C++ * Due to the nature of the work performed, US Citizenship is a requirement Preferred Qualifications & Skills: * Experience with developing applications under the UNIX/Linux operating system family (Windows experience is also acceptable) * Embedded flight software build knowledge: comfortable with tools such as make.
